ORDINANCE NO. ~ `a y~~S <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 3500 BLOCK OF THE NORTH SIDE OF EAST DOUGLAS ROAD, <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46635, COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO.~_, IN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIADIl~i <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 3500 BLOCK OF NORTH SIDE OF EAST DOUGLAS ROAD IS <br />PRESENTLY ZONED "OB" OFFICE BUFFER DISTRICT AND "CB" CONIl~lUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />AND CONTAINS VACANT GROUND. THE PROPERTY IS REQUESTED TO BE REZONED TO THE "CB" <br />COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT TO ALIAW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MEDICAL RETAIL <br />FACILITY. <br />NOW THEREFORE SE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMt~N COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. ORDINANCE NO. 9495-04, I5 AMENDED, WHICH ORDINANCE IS CONIIr10NLY <br />KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, BE AND THE <br />SAME HEREBY IS AMENDED IN ORDER THAT THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE FOLLOWING <br />DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, STATE OF <br />INDIANA: <br />THAT PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 38 NORTH, RANGE 3 <br />EAST, CLAY TOWNSHIP, CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA WHICH IS <br />DESCRIBED AS: LOT # 3 OF THE PLAT OF "ECLIPSE DOIIGLAS ROAD MINOR SUBDIVISION" AS <br />RECORDED IN THE RECORDS OF THE ST.
