.V <br />plat; thence, east along <br />a point of curvature; th <br />radius curve to the left <br />302.26 ft. to a point of <br />northeasterly along said <br />of beginning. <br />said line 363.11 ft. to <br />ance around a 286.48 ft. <br />an arc distance of <br />tangent; thence, <br />centerline to the point <br />WHEREAS, the Commission, in Resolution No. 762 created and <br />designated the Studebaker Corridor Allocation Area (South Bend <br />Allocation Area No. 6) (the Allocation Area), the boundaries for <br />which are identical with the boundaries of the Studebaker Corridor <br />Development Area described in the first whereas clause above; and <br />WHEREAS, in Resolution No. 762, the Commission directed <br />that the proceeds of taxes be distributed to the Department <br />pursuant to the allocation provisions of the Resolution, <br />particularly paragraph 10(b), and be deposited in a special fund <br />designated as Studebaker Corridor Allocation Area (South Bend <br />Allocation Area No. 6) Special Fund (Special Fund), proceeds from <br />which may be used, among other purposes, "to reimburse the City for <br />expenditures made by it for public improvements in South Bend <br />Allocation Area No. 6;" and <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend has made expenditures for <br />public improvements, as defined by IC 36- 7- 14- 39(b)(2)G, within the <br />Allocation Area and should be reimbursed from the Special Fund for <br />those expenditures. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, as follows: <br />1. The Commission finds that the City of South Bend has <br />expended the following amounts from the Community Development Fund <br />(Fund 212) of the City for the following purposes in the Allocation <br />Area: <br />CHECK <br />CHECK # VENDOR ACTIVITY DATE AMOUNT <br />1109 UNIV. OF MICH. STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR 7/3/87 $11,032.38 <br />13528 UNIV. OF MICH. STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR 9/4/87 15,371.42 <br />2223 UNIV. OF MICH. STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR 10/8/87 9.519.20 <br />TOTAL $35.923.00 <br />2. The Commission authorizes and appropriates Ten <br />Thousand Two Hundred Thirty -Three Dollars ($10,233.00) from the <br />Special Fund to reimburse the City of South Bend for expenditures <br />made within the Allocation Area described in paragraph one hereof. <br />
