IV. The next order of business was unfinished business. <br /> 1. Request to Award Chemicals and Fertilizer Bids Opened at February Meeting-Randy <br /> Nowacki <br /> Mr.Nowacki read the prices of items to be awarded from the bids that were opened at the <br /> last meeting. <br /> Ms. Hill made a motion to accept the staff s recommendation to award the chemical and <br /> fertilizer bids to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder as noted in Mr.Nowacki's <br /> presentation. The no alternates were accepted, except in case that only alternates were <br /> bid. Mr. Mullins seconded the motion and it was passed. <br /> V. The next order of business was new business. <br /> 1. Arborist License Approval <br /> The following companies submitted applications for approval: <br /> a. The Cutting Edge <br /> b. Doug's Mishawaka Tree Service, Inc. <br /> c. KC Tree, Inc. <br /> d. MAAC property Services <br /> e. Trugreen <br /> All companies met the requirements. <br /> Mr. Goodrich made a motion to approve all the requests. Ms. Hill seconded the motion <br /> and it was passed. <br /> 2. Request to solicit quotes for painting at Coveleski-Betsy Harriman <br /> Ms. Harriman made a request to solicit quotes for painting at Coveleski Stadium. <br /> Ms. Hill made a motion to approve the request to solicit quotes for painting at Coveleski <br /> Stadium. Mr. Goodrich seconded the motion and it was passed. <br /> 3. Request by Paula Garis to approve Fiddler's Hearth providing concessions at <br /> three events: <br /> a. Artseverywhere Concert Series-Potawatomi Park- July 21 thru August <br /> b. Celtic Showcase at Seitz Park- July 22 <br /> c. Michiana Celtic Festival-Howard Park- September 2 <br /> Ms. Garis explained the events to the Board and Ms. Carol Meehan, owner of Fiddler's <br /> Hearth explained that they have met all requirements for serving alcohol and food at theses <br /> events. <br /> Mr. Goodrich made a motion to approve the events.
