Klosinski, Assistant City Engineer <br />Board <br />of PlftWio 'Works <br />Agenda Request Form — Request to Advertise and <br />118-087 WWTP Administration Building Masonry Improvements <br />DATE: November 5, 2018 <br />uuuuuouuoioi��mmioioioimm ru�m�uvumm�w�r iwwwwwu�... uuwu�mwnuuwar�u�mmmim�mmmomoioiwrumomm0000mmmmm�o� <br />The Department of Public Works Division of Utilities is requesting the Board of Public Works <br />approval of the Request to Advertise and Title Sheet for the receipt of bids for Project No. 118- <br />087 Wastewater Treatment Plant Administration Building Masonry Improvements. <br />Background <br />The existing Administration Building masonry has deteriorated over the years. This project will <br />address masonry deficiencies (cracks, joint replacements, lintel restoration / replacement, <br />window replacements and joint sealants necessary to secure the building envelope and reduce <br />the amount of moisture and leakage into the building during rain events. <br />Included in the scope of work are improvements to the Administration Building #15 and Primary <br />Building #3 which are two of the worst condition buildings on the Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />campus. <br />It is the Division of Utilities intent to award this project prior to year's end with construction to <br />begin in Spring 2019. <br />Bidding Schedule <br />Advertise: November 16, 2018 and November 23, 2018 <br />Bid Opening: December 11, 2018 <br />Bid Award: December 18/20, 2018 <br />The funding source will be Utilities, Sewage Works Operations, Building Repairs and <br />Maintenance Account (641-0630-793-36-01). <br />If there are any questions regarding the subject project, please contact AI Greek (Ext. 4210) at <br />the Division of Utilities or Jacob M.
