We have revised the
scope and fee under the following understanding. This project will be partially funded utilizing a Land
and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant. As discussed at the scoping meeting, this agreement
reflects initial work tasks necessary for Schematic Design. An amendment will be developed for
Construction Documents, Bid Phase Services, and any Construction Administration desired by the City,
based on the preferred improvements identified within the City's $1,500,000 total project budget at
the conclusion of the Schematic Design phase.
We anticipate the following overall project schedule based on the LWCF funding timeline and the City's
desired design milestones.
Anticipated Date
Project Milestone
November 13, 2018
DLZ Notice to Proceed
...v—..........
November - December 2018
................ ..............................................
NEPA/Section 106 Submittal for State Agency Review
November 2018 - February 2019
.—...._ — ....._
Survey and Schematic Design ...__......................................
...... .. ......_..
January 2018/February 2019
NEPA_/Section 106 State Agency Review/Coordination
February 2019 ----
____ ......
March —September 2019
-...._y
Federal Approval Timeline/State Grant Agreement**
................... .. .....................
March — May 2019
Fin
al Design (60%, 90%Construction Documents)*
......
June 2019
....... _ ........... ......
IDNR Plan Review*
.—._......._
July 2019 .................._. — ............. _ _..
........
Final Plans for Bidding* .._......................................................................
TBD
Bidding* (Following Receipt of Federal Approval and Execution of State
Grant Agreement
TBD
Start Project Construction*
*Services not included in this agreement; Amendment to follow Schematic Design
**Federal timeline as provided in LWCF Manual
2211 E Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46615-2692 I OFFICE 574.236.4400 I ONLINE W W W.DLZ.COM
Akron Bridgeville Burns Harbor Chicago Cincinnati Cleveland Columbus Detroit Fort Wayne Indianapolis Joliet Kalamazoo Lansing
Lexington Louisville Madison Melvindale Munster Pittsburgh Saint Joseph South Bend Toledo
