HM <br />will be the responsibility (functionally and financially) of the <br />employee to provide a negative return to duty test in order to be <br />reinstated to duty. Not until a negative test result for drugs or <br />a 0.02 or lower for alcohol is received by the employer, shall the <br />employee be allowed to return to work. <br />Post -Accident - Employees testing positive for drugs or testing <br />0.04 or higher for alcohol could be immediately terminated from <br />employment in a post accident situation. <br />Random- Employees testing nositive for drugs or 0.04 or higher for <br />alcohol will follow the same procedures as a Under Reasonable Cause <br />testing (see above). <br />Return to Work - After testing positive under 'the random or <br />reasonable suspicion testing for drugs or testing 0.04 or higher <br />for alcohol , employee must undergo a return to work test. This <br />test will be the responsibility of the employee and results will be <br />communicated directly from the KIRO to the eMplOYSe whether they are <br />negative or positive. Because the cost of the return to work test <br />is the responsibility of the employee. it is 01 the employee's best <br />interest not to take the return to duty test until he or she is <br />sure to pass the test. Also because of the fact that the employee <br />is the only one communicating with the MRO or test facility, the <br />employer will not know the results until the employee passes. <br />Insubordination - Any employee who knowingly attempts to <br />adulterate a drug specimen or alcohol test in order to produce <br />a false negative or refuses to take a drug or alcohol test could W� <br />terminated immediately. <br />Recordkeeping <br />Five (5) year Retention Period <br />Alcohol tests resulting in 0.02 or greater <br />Verified positive drug tests <br />Refusals to submit to reauired drug or alcohol tests <br />Reauired calibration of evidential breath testing devices <br />Substance abuse professional's evaluations and referrals <br />Annual calendar year summary <br />Two (2) Year Retention Period <br />- Records related to the collection process and training <br />
