Michael has fifteen years experience <br /> serving as a city engineer in Washington,Utah,and Oregon.His first day was Monday, <br /> April 2. <br /> "Michael has years of experience and proven leadership to lead the engineering division <br /> of the Department of Public Works," said Buttigieg. "He will bring innovative ideas and <br /> methods to City projects and I would like to welcome him to the City." <br /> Michael started his career in Roosevelt,Utah as a civil engineer for USDA Soil <br /> Conservation Services developing computer models for water distribution, sewer <br /> collection, storm water and floodplain models. Four years later he moved to Oregon <br /> performing similar duties for the city of Salem.
