Councilmember Karen White seconded the motion <br /> which carried by a voice vote of nine(9) ayes. <br /> SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> BILL NO. <br /> 20-18 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br /> RECOGNIZING AND THANKING THE LOCAL <br /> MEMBERS OF THE MABAS DIVISION 201 <br /> TECHNICAL RESCUE TEAM FOR THEIR <br /> ASSISTANCE IN NORTH CAROLINA DURING <br /> AND FOLLOWING HURRICANE FLORENCE <br /> Councilmember Oliver Davis, 1801 Nash Street, South Bend, IN, served as the presenter for this <br /> bill. Councilmember Oliver Davis stated, I reside in the great sixth (6th) District of South Bend. I <br /> would ask all the firefighters to please come forth. A Resolution of the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend recognizing and thanking the local members of the MABAS Division 201 <br /> Technical Rescue Team for their assistance in North Carolina during and following Hurricane <br /> Florence. Whereas, The MABAS 2001-Indiana District Two (2) US&R/Technical Rescue Team <br /> was started in 2001 and is comprised of eighty-six (86) members from surrounding area fire <br /> departments.
