38y CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION No. 48.1917. Resolved by the Board" of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana; that the foll6wing described property be appropriated. for the use of said City: Beginning at the intersection of the east l ine of Lear —Street,' as platted in Leer's Ist." addition produced north and the southerly line of -the right-of-way of the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway Co; thence north on said east line of Leer Street south of the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway Co produced. north 115 feet to the northerly line of said r ight;�-®f-way ; thence south 5° west an the original westline ine of Leer r. , Street 112- feet to the southerly line of said right-of-way; thence southeasterly on the southerly line of .said right-of-way 11.6 feet to the .place of beginning. ALSO Beginning at the intersection of the west line of Leer Street as platted in Demlerts Addition produced north with the .southerly line of the right-of-way of the Lake Share,& Michigan Southern Railway Co.; thence north on said west line of Leer Street south of the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway Co produced north 92.3 feet; thence north 5' a gtt 22.1 feet to the northerly line of saidright-ofµway; thence south easterly on the northerly line of said right-of-way 22.3 feet to the original west line of Leer Street; thence south 5° west 112 1 feet to the southerly line of said right-of-way thence northwesterly on the southerly line of said right-of-way 13.74 feet to the place of beginning. The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such appropriation: - Beginning at the intersection of the southerly line of Lincoln Way East and the westerly line of -Lot 6 in Leers Survey; thence southwesterly .on the westerly line of said lot 6 to the south west corner of. said. lit 6; thence southerly to the Wirth west corner of lot 6 in Demler's Addition; thence south on the west line of said lot 6 in said west line produced south to the north line of Indiana Avenue; thence east on the north. line of Indiana Avenue to the west line of the first alley east of Leer Street; thence north on the west line of the first alley east of Leer Street and said line produced north to the southerly line of lot 4 in Leer's Survey; thence westerly on the southerly line of said lot 4 to the southwest corner of said lot 4 thence northerly'on the westerly line of said lot 4'to the southerly lineof Lincoln Way East; thence north westerly on the southerly line of Lincoln Way East to the place of beginning. The purpose of such apprspriation is Widening of Leer Street across the Lake Shore and Bdighigan Southern Railway Co. right-of-way. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 6th. day of March 1917-and on the 13th. day of March 1917 in the South Bend Daily Tr ibune. This Board, at its office in the City Hall 'on the 3rd. day of April, 1917 at 7:45 P.M. will hear and receive remonstftances from all persna interested in or affe cted by these proceedings.
