Cutter Com-oany appeared before the Board in regard to bill of January 8th. ,1916 for brackets for street signs. The Board decided to take this matter up with Street Coirr i s ioner for a re,)ort. A.bid was received, opened and read for -m vemtent on Portage Court from Portage Avenue to Ashland Avenue as follows:-- V Rarr Clay Block per aqs._ _yd. ... 1.70 Veedersburg Paver it "...41.65 Portl@,.nd cement concrete ...$1.45 The above bid was rejected by the Board ?s be ixz_T to high and. the Clerk instructed to readvertise for bids. Resolved that hct:ice be published on the 9th. day of January 1917 and or, the i�th. day of January 1917 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that Board :gill receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.T11. on the 30th. day of J-.nuary 1917 at 1,®:�0,0 A.M.
