That all.streets over which the tracks of -the New York Central Railroad Company are required by this resolution to be raised or eleveated, shall have the full imount of the clearance as provided for in this resolution for each of said streets for. the full width beneath the superstructure, and that in changIng froifi the level grades to ascending grades, proper allowance dhall be .made for suitable vertical curves, but at Uichigan Street the vertical curves shall not extend under the sup'erstrVeture nor at Chapin Street shall the vertical curves extend.under,or wft.hix twenty-seven one bald (2 feet of the superstructure. In changing from ascending grades to present streei grades proper allowances shall be made for suitable vertical leurves,. In making proper allowance . for suitable vertical,curvos at-kichigan and Cj'Spin Streets, no grade shall be made more than teo and one-half feet -to each one hundr&d'(100) feet6 29. And the tracks of the Vandalis Railroad Com5any, Indiana Northern Railway Company, Oliver Chilled. ' Plow Company, and Sttudeabkor-Corpora'tion,,,whose tracks intersect or connect with the tracktof the New York Central Railroad Companyt if Said companies or any of them.shill- desire tq,.keep and maintain said connections shall be raised so as to conform to the gr,,q.d-es of said New York Central Railroad Company as herein established and made propercannections with the same. .50., And the swid city by,q_."nd through its Board of,Public Works and Common Council reserves- the right to change the elevation off the tracks of the New York Central Railroad Company at their intersection with Chapin Street,. and to increase the clearnac* at said point, at such time as the elevation of the tracks of said railroad shall be extended westerly from thapoint now designated as the western -most point of such ele- vation. That said improvement shall be made and paid for see ording to the method and manner provided for in an Act of the General Assembly of Indiana of'1911,Pago.314, of any other law applicable thereto. And be it further resolved* that this resolution as above modified -be, and is hereby in all things apprved and confirmed, and that it is hereby ordered Uat this r esolution be referred to the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana for its consideration and approval.
