Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. A 11 members present. City Attorney Eli.. F. Seebirt appeared before the Board and discussed track elevation resolutions No. 2. Attorney Crumpacker rppresentaing J. M. Studeabker appeared before the Board in regard to the widening of Eddy Street and Mishawp.ka Avenue, and requested permission of.the Board to have the judgement in regard to the above matter set aside in the Circuit Court, or that the Board have the same.done. The Board informed Mr., Crumpacker to find out how much is wanted for the additonal land and report to them at meeting to be held at 7:45 P.M. this 14th. day of November 1916. Petition for the opening of William Street from Colfax Avenue to Lincoln - Way West was discussed by the Board and the Clerk was instructed to send out the letters to the following property owners abutting William St. alley, requesting them' to come to meeting to be held Tuesday[ November 21st. ,1916. at 7:45 P.M. in regard to the opening of William Street. , Mrs. Olive C. Birdsell, John Ryan Estate, ®tis Romine attorney for same, Lorenz Lederer, Martha A. biller, St. Peters Evangelical Church trustees. Wm. A. & Clara D. Jackson, John Y. Slick and Mollie D. Swartz. Petition filed for a water main on St., Vincent Street from Eddy Street to Notre Dame Avenue. The same was referred to the Water Department for a report. Petition for a pipe sewer on Carroll Street from Haney Avenue to a point v 206 feet south of the line of Haney Avenue. Same referred to the City Engineer for report. Contract for pipe sewer on Foster Street awarded to Hoban & goach. 11-1 Contract for pipe sewer on Me Pherson Street hwarded to L. H. Webster. Contract for pipe sewer on Portage Court awarded to Hoban & Roach. the following partial estimate was allowed Chas. M. Oberlein. +o the Board of Public 'forks, of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Gentlemen: - We herewith submit estimate No`. 1. for the water connect ions on Eddy Street and Mishawaka Avenue from Jefferson Blvd. to 19th. street in accordance with the terms mil` of the contract between the City and Chas. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Resolved, that noticed as to the' amounts of assessments as required by statute be published on the 16th. day of November 1916. and on the 23rd. day of November 1916 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 28th. day of November 1916. Resolved further that the entire work under the above contract be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published or.; the 16th. day of November 1916. and on the 23rd. day of November 1916 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this office in the City Hall on the 28th. day of November 1916. at 7:45 P.M.
