NuDard met in regular sess ion at 7:45 P.M. Mr. E. M. Morris absent. Mr. <br />A. H. Rice acting president. <br />Hearing had on IMrr ovement Resolution No. 477 for Pipe sewer on McPhers on <br />Street from point 100 feet south of the south line of Thomas Street to 100 feet north <br />of the north line of Division Street, In the 'City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were <br />filed. ( A number of property owners on said street appeared before the Board and by un- <br />animous vote dec i,dedthat they wanted pipe sewer punt in.) And the Board being fully <br />advised in the premises decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for <br />said improvements are equal to the estimated coat of the same, as reported by the City <br />C iv it Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted <br />and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 19th. day of October <br />1916 and on the 26th. day of October 1916. in a newspaper of general circulation in said <br />City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements <br />up to 10:00 A.M. on the 7th. day of November 1916. Smame read and placed on file. <br />Complaint filed by C ounc ilman Wm. Goebel in regard to dirt on sidewalks <br />on east side of Kemble Avenue at corner . o-f 2Oliver Street north side' of Calvert St. <br />from Kemble Avenue to South.Franklin Street. The same was referred to the City Street <br />Commissioner for investigation. <br />Street Commissioner filed complaint received from property owner on <br />Ernsperger Street and Randolph Street in regard to draining of Ernsperger St, also stated <br />cogs pool was full at this point.
