Board net in requjar session at 10:00 A.M. A11 members pre .sent. Communication, a: nci certificate received -from -the Travelers Indemnity Company in regard to the boilers in the City Hall. The same were read &nd placed on file.. Remonstrance received and placed on fie, against sewer on Calvert Street from Miami Street to Leer Street. .Petition filed for Aidewalk on west side of Kenble Avenue frori Oliver Street ,ito Ewing Avenue. The same wtjs referred to the City Engineer for favestigation. Petition -received fen a limit on south' Michigan Street and Oakside Avenue. The A ame read and placed on file. F. �.Me a rs Atty. of The Chicago hake Shore and South Bead Ry. Company appeared before the Board in. regard to the contract for` the freight depot in this City. The Board instructed Atty. Meers that the same would be taken up at 9:00 P.M. this 20th. day of June 1916. In regard to complaint received -of sand and dirt on sidewalks the follow— ing persons were ordered notified by letter to clean the same. Locker,, sidewalk on lot 9 Chapotonts Sub. of lot 10 on North Franc e s Street. r. Idea S. Romig and W. E Diller sidewalk in front of Lot 54 Park Place Add. on the northeast of Arthur Street and Sarin Street. Pole and wire inspector reported as following on complaint about broken pole at the southwest corner of Lafayette Street and Tutt Street and the Board approved of his. repoit"t. This is a Home Telephone Company pole and should be reset at once as it is broken off at the ground and is held only by the trees on the top of the pole. Miss Thelka Sack appeared before the Board in regard to a watertrough which stands in front of a business house owned by them at 209 E: Jefferson Blvdj and presented a letter requesting that the wane be removed.
