The Board ordered that the bids received on May 16th.,1916. at 10:00 A.M. for water connections on Mic"igan Street from La Salle Avenue to Monroe Street and which were herd up until May 30th.,1916 and on account of Memorial Day held until to day be deferred until Tuesday June 13th.,1916. at 10.100 A.M. Engineer filed assessment roll andfinal estimate for water connection on Indiana Avenue from Leer Street to Prairie Avenue under I:-Drovement Resolution 0. 425 In the City of Suut h Bend , Ind is,na . Resfved, that notices as to the s nount s of assessment as p@qu red b statute be published. on the 2nd. day of June 1916. and on the 9th. day of .June 1916 in the Suuth Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Roard will give a hearing on the amount .of such assessments at its office in the City Fail on the 20th. day of June 1916 at 7:45 P.M. Resolved further, that the entire work tinder the above contracts be ac— cepted and approved and the Final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 2nd. day of June 1916, and on the 9th. day of June 1916 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 20th. day of June 1916 at 7:45 P.M. Headley and approved by the Board. Contract and bond for grading and gravel roadway on Pokagon Street from Tecumseh Avenue to Michigan Central Ry. Co. right of way, under Improvement Resolution No. 4199 signed by H. L. Davis and approved by the Board. Estimated cost of grade, curb, walk and gravel roadway on Donald Street from Michigan Street to Main Street ate e e e e a ................ $19803. 00 In regard to @gMp.laint about telephone pole in way of garage at rear of 813 N. Cushing St, the pole and wire inspector reports as follows. This is a C. U.-Tel. Co. pol and should be removed to the south to the propertynline. Same approved. President.
