Board met in special session at 7:30 P.M- in Council Cha--hers. All <br />members present. <br />The Board held a public m eti°ng of property owners and tenants on <br />,gichigan Street, cards_ having been sent out to notify property owners and tenants of this <br />meeting.' Said me tang held in Common Council Ciiambers. <br />About forty property owners or,tenants appeared before the Board. <br />Petitions were presented to the Board by T.H. Brandon signed by <br />about Three hundred property owners and tenants on the following Street. Michigan Street <br />from La Salle Ave. t o �o�roe Street. Main Street from La Salle to Mayne Street. Colfax Avenue <br />Prom La <br />ll Michigan. 'omoeashinngon Avenue from the alley west`of Fain Street to Michigan St. <br />from <br />Jefferson Michivds from the alley west of Main St. to St. Joseph Street. On Wayne Street <br />from Main to Michigan, petitioning the Board to install the ornaSsntThelsameiwere ightng yread ccity <br />and <br />In the above territory, and to pay for same out of the City Fun <br />placed on file,, the Board taking this matter under advisement. <br />The proposition of eliminating trolley poles off of Michigan <br />Street, Washington Street, Main Street and Jefferson Street and the -.placing of the span wires <br />to the buildings was discussed with property owners and tenants, who approved of the plan of <br />what.the Board had adopted and in -form them ghat they would co—operate with them in this matter. <br />All underground work to be put in before pavement wccs laid on Michigan <br />Street was discussed by the Board, and was met with favorable approval of all property <br />owners on Michigan Street present. <br />Clerk instructed to request Mr. Layton St. Commi-sioner to get estimates <br />of the Park Board steam rolling in Parks, end Recreation Committee rolling, also plowing <br />for the Recreation Committee, and present s�.me to the Board. <br />Clerk instructed to write to lair. J. M. Studebaker requesting him <br />to file with the Board his proposed plat of property which borders on Eddy Street and <br />Mishawaka Avenue' as they would ke to thereewill bennohnecess�tynoff water taps breaking �.ntonithese <br />street, as when pavement is put in <br />President. <br />
