All members present. <br />P Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 43 for the purpose of <br />appropriating a strip of land to open and extend Lafayette Street from a point 149 <br />ft. north of the north line of Indiana Avenue, in the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />A <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were fill <br />A mayority.o.fBoard being fully advised in the matter takes final action on said resdlu- <br />tion, confirming without mods 'ication, all former action taken on the same. <br />A majorityofthe� Board thteiwzo�Mi&,Fes <br />the above property in all things condemned <br />and appropriated for paubl cu e,a oard now orders that a .list or roll be prepared <br />of _all . the owners or 6-iders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to <br />be taken or to be in O elV afffected',,which said list or roll shall also describe <br />the property benefisiaily $ffected. <br />Hearing given on Vacation Resolution No. 25 for the purpose of <br />vacating a portion of Lafayette Street between Broadway and -Indiana Avenue, as follows+ <br />Beginning fifty (50) feet east and one hundred and forty nine (149) feet north of the <br />intersection of the north line of Indiana Avenue and the west line of Lafayette Street <br />produced south; thence north one hundred and ninety one (191) feet; thence east thirty <br />two and one-half (32-1/2) feet; thence south one hundred and ninety one (191) feet <br />%hence west thirty two and one half (32-1/2) feet tonthe place of beginning* <br />a majorijy ofn the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances <br />were filed, the Board therefore sustain all former action taken and declare the above <br />described property in all thin-.s vacated and this resolution in all things ratified, <br />confirmed and- approved. <br />Resolved further, that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare a <br />roll showing awards of damages and assessments of benefits to all parties and pro- <br />perties interested in the above matter. <br />The Board ordered the City Civil Engineer to prepared resolution <br />for pavement on Michigan Street from South Street to north line of Lam, �Sa3.1e Avenue. <br />Eddy Street from Jefferson Blvd. to Sample Street Bridge, 9,44 Mishawake.-Avenue <br />from Eddy.Street to Nineteenth Street. and Indiana Avenue from Leer Street to <br />Kemble Avenue. <br />Permission was granted E.H. Frederickson an extension of 60 days <br />or until April lst.1916 for the compketion of printing office building on Hibberd <br />Court. <br />The City Engineer filed the following reports. <br />Regarding the attached petition for pavement on St. Louis Blvd. <br />from Jefferson Boulevard to Division Street, I respectfully report that I have investi- <br />gated said utter and recommend that the petition be granted. <br />The estimated cost of the City's <br />Intersections is $1,300.00 and the City's share fo <br />share for street and aky <br />r Park frontage is 0.00 <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />FREDERICK J.
