ORDINANCE NO. ~g ~3"~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $92,386.00 OF INDIANA FINANCE AUTHORITY GRANT <br />FUNDS WITHIN FUND 210 FOR THE PURPOSE OF A PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL <br />ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 731 WEST CHIPPEWA AVENUE IN <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />Statement of Purpose and {ntent: <br />In November, 2007 an application for a Site Assessment Grant was submitted to the <br />Indiana Finance Authority for a Phase II Environmenta{ Site Assessment at 731 West <br />Chippewa Avenue, the former Hannover property. The application has been approved by <br />the Indiana Finance Authority in the amount of $92,386.00 and it is now necessary to <br />appropriate such funds for the purpose of environmental investigation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $92,386.00 from an Indiana Finance Authority Site <br />Assessment Grant is hereby appropriated and set aside within Fund 210 to be used for a <br />Phase II Environmental Site Assessment at 731 West Chippewa Avenue, the former <br />Hannover property. <br />SECTION II.
