Ironwood Drive <br />South Bend, IN. 46615 <br />(574) 234 -6037 <br />CONSTRUCTION SURVEYS <br />PUBLIC WORKS PREQUALIFIED <br />The petitioned parcels are located at 730 & 734 South 29th Street, south Bend, IN. 46615 in <br />Portage Township. The parcels are on the East side of 29th Street approximately 210 feet North of <br />Walls Street. It is zoned R and contains two houses and two garages. The owner is in the process <br />of operating a child care facility. A special variances is requested to operate said child care facility <br />without the owner /operator residing at said facility. Therefore to rectify this situation and meet the <br />zoning ordinance, we ask the Board to grant a variance from the owner /operator residing at said <br />child care facility to not residing at said child care facility. <br />The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, comfort, Community <br />moral standards, convenience or general welfare of the community. The proposed use will not <br />injure or adversely affect the use of the adjacent area or property values therein; the proposed use <br />will be consistent with the character of the district in which it is located and the land uses <br />authorized therein; and, the proposed use is compatible with the recommendations of the City of <br />South Bend Comprehensive Plan. <br />If there are any questions regarding the above, please contact our office at your earliest <br />convenience. <br />Sincerely, <br />I�l.
