7,94 Board met in -regular session at 10:00 A.M. H. F. Rost iser absent. The Board instructed the Clerk to write letters `to the appraisers on the Widening of Ewing Avenue and request them to f ile ' an itemized statement of their bill, It was unanimously approved by the Board that the -salaries of We E. Liraves, P. *. Rill in and J. T. Neenan of the Engineering Department be in- ccreased and paid at the rate of $2,000.00 per year starting August 1st.,192o. Attorney Schellinger appeared before the Board and presented Plat of Richland 1st,.. Add it ion and same was approved by the Board as follows: - The attached plat is a plat of " Richland First Addition"., an - Add it ion to to city of South Bend, Indiana. It comprises the following tract of land all with in the Corporate Limits, of South Bend, Indian&:-- " Beginning at a point on the' west line of Section Fifteen (15) Twonship Ti.rty seven (37) North, Vinge two (2) East, One hundred and seventy-two (172) feed south of the northwest corner of the southwest gVarter of the south west, quarter of said section Fifteen (15), Township thirty-seven (37) north,, Range two (2) East, thence east thirteen hundred and thirty (1330) feet to the east line of said southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of. said Section fifteen (15), Township thirty-seven (37) North, Range Two (2) east, thence. north three hundred and forty-four (344) feet, thence west thirteen hundred and thirty (1330) feet to the west line of. said Section fifteen (15) , Township thirty-seven (37) North , Range Two (2) Fast, thence south three hundred forty-four (344) feet to the place of beginning," Said plat contains thirty-nine (39) lots, numbered from one (1) to thirty-nine (39) inclusive. The dimendsions of said lots are given on said plat in feet. Streets and alleys shown on said plat are hereby dedicated to the public for public use forever. Wolfe with Mr. Egbett of the Sanders Egebert Company appeared bfore the Board and presented a tentative plat of their property on Sample Street and Walnjjt and discussed the same with the Board,and agreed to forward letter to the Board explainAng same. Petition filed for a sewer on South St..Joseph Street from 1500 block to Indiana Avenue and Haney Avenue. Same read and placed on file.
