<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY T_HE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />STI JOSEPH COUNTY,,, STATE •'OF INDIANA, that it is desired and deemed necessar y to
<br />imp-.ove Walnut Street from Sample Street to the north line of Indiana Avenue as
<br />follows, to -wit:
<br />Said street- zhal.l be graded and the' roadway thereof shall be paved;
<br />and also the roadway of c°rtain portions of -the streets and alleys which enter dr
<br />intersect said 'street shall be .graded and paved The paving material to be- used
<br />in making said 'improvement -.shall be Sheet Asphalt, Asphalt block, brick or Rein-
<br />forced Portland.Cement Conaratey and the foundation shall be portland cement con -
<br />Crete six (6) inches thick for,.the.. sheet Asphalt, asphalt block and --brink;.: also
<br />cement curb shall 'b.e constructed along said street where same js not already -'
