To the•Members of the Board of Public Works, South Bend, Ind. Gentlemen: - We, the members of the Board of School Trustees, are very anxious to that yuur proceed with the proposed pavement on West Sample Street. The Street is practically impassable the greater part of the school year, making it very diffeult for teachers and pupils as well as -,patrons and visitors to reach the Washington School which is located on the unpaved part of the Street. It would be very 'd iffteult for the fire department 'to reach this school In case of fire while the street is in its present condition.
