The current use of the Property is vacant land <br />_and the current zoning is _CB- Community Business, however the petitioner is <br />seeking a request to rezone the property to MF -2, Multi- family. The petitioner <br />has the expected support of the city staff and council to proceed with the re- <br />zoning with a February 4th neighborhood meeting, February 19th Area Planning <br />meeting, and February 25th council meeting for first and second reading and final <br />vote for the re- zoning. Through suggested support from both the staff and <br />council members it is expected that the 1 st and 2nd reading will be completed on <br />the 2/25/08 Common Council meeting to allow for a vote that evening. While <br />there have been no remonstrators, we are ever aware that entering a <br />neighborhood is a two -way street.
