1V <br />° Board met in regular session at l <br />Fred W.-Keller appeared before th <br />mod if y ing resolution for the paving of Donald S <br />Communication which was read and placed on file <br />Sou <br />00 A.M. All members present. <br />Board and took up the matter of <br />eat. and presented the following <br />,tit hearing on said resolution. <br />.Bend, Ind. April 23,1920. <br />To the Honorable Board of Public Works, <br />city. <br />Gentlemen: - <br />We hereby request that you notify the resolution for the paving of Donald <br />Street from Miami Street to Studebaker Parr to read as follows, From Miami Street <br />to the west line of High Street. <br />The part of this street between High Street and Studebaker Parka distane <br />of eight feet has never been graded or curbed and there is no occasion for improving <br />it at this time. The ldsts on both sides of this short portion of the street have <br />been subdivided to front on High Street and we ' a e the only persons owning property <br />on said portion of the street. <br />Hoping you will make this changem we are, <br />Yours truly, <br />ITCOMB & KELLER <br />C. BATTENBURG. <br />The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the New York Central Ry. Co. <br />the Three I. - Divis ion to have an engineer here on May 5th. , 1920 at %: 15 P.M, as <br />the matter of the viaduct on Portage Avenue will be taken.up-at this time. <br />Petition filed for vacation of 1st. alley east of Michigan Street <br />between Ewing Avenue and Seeberger Drive. The Board ordered resolution prepared <br />on same. <br />Communication received from Indiana Michigan Electric Company <br />addressed to the H. A. Wood Realty Company about treat lights out in Marquette <br />Rrk and same was read and placed on file. <br />Remonstrance received read and place on file from W. R. Hobbs against <br />resurfacing of Wayne Street. <br />The Board ordered bill of Roy H. Wol a paid for installing newer tap <br />from curb Same to be paid out of Miscellaneous Fund. <br />Complaint about telephone pole inreir of 628 North Lafayette Btvd. <br />which is in way of entrance to garage. The Board ordered the South Bend Home Tel. <br />Company to reset the pole to the dividing line to the north about 14 feet or to the <br />south about 15 feet. <br />Complaint about pole and anchor in <br />at 1819 South Fellows Street. The Board ordered <br />to reset pole and anchor should be reset to the <br />dividing line as possible and not injure a shade <br />anchor just north of the entrance to the walk. <br />Request from the Park Board to turn <br />seaon 1920 was granted by the Board. <br />of private driveway to property <br />Central Union Tel Company <br />h and place the pole as near the <br />e standing there. Place the <br />lights in the Parks for the <br />Resolution ordered on petition for g ading of alley running north and <br />south between Madison Street and Cedar Street and Francis and Notre Dame Avenue. <br />
