1V ° Board met in regular session at l Fred W.-Keller appeared before th mod if y ing resolution for the paving of Donald S Communication which was read and placed on file Sou 00 A.M. All members present. Board and took up the matter of eat. and presented the following ,tit hearing on said resolution. .Bend, Ind. April 23,1920. To the Honorable Board of Public Works, city. Gentlemen: - We hereby request that you notify the resolution for the paving of Donald Street from Miami Street to Studebaker Parr to read as follows, From Miami Street to the west line of High Street. The part of this street between High Street and Studebaker Parka distane of eight feet has never been graded or curbed and there is no occasion for improving it at this time. The ldsts on both sides of this short portion of the street have been subdivided to front on High Street and we ' a e the only persons owning property on said portion of the street. Hoping you will make this changem we are, Yours truly, ITCOMB & KELLER C. BATTENBURG. The Board instructed the Clerk to notify the New York Central Ry. Co. the Three I. - Divis ion to have an engineer here on May 5th. , 1920 at %: 15 P.M, as the matter of the viaduct on Portage Avenue will be taken.up-at this time. Petition filed for vacation of 1st. alley east of Michigan Street between Ewing Avenue and Seeberger Drive. The Board ordered resolution prepared on same. Communication received from Indiana Michigan Electric Company addressed to the H. A. Wood Realty Company about treat lights out in Marquette Rrk and same was read and placed on file. Remonstrance received read and place on file from W. R. Hobbs against resurfacing of Wayne Street. The Board ordered bill of Roy H. Wol a paid for installing newer tap from curb Same to be paid out of Miscellaneous Fund. Complaint about telephone pole inreir of 628 North Lafayette Btvd. which is in way of entrance to garage. The Board ordered the South Bend Home Tel. Company to reset the pole to the dividing line to the north about 14 feet or to the south about 15 feet. Complaint about pole and anchor in at 1819 South Fellows Street. The Board ordered to reset pole and anchor should be reset to the dividing line as possible and not injure a shade anchor just north of the entrance to the walk. Request from the Park Board to turn seaon 1920 was granted by the Board. of private driveway to property Central Union Tel Company h and place the pole as near the e standing there. Place the lights in the Parks for the Resolution ordered on petition for g ading of alley running north and south between Madison Street and Cedar Street and Francis and Notre Dame Avenue.
