LIM <br />RESOLUTION NO. 887 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />622 SOUTH COLUMBIA <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend owns real estate located at 622 <br />S. Columbia, South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works for the City of South Bend <br />(the Board) is authorized to sell, exchange or transfer property of <br />the City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, the City of South Bend, as a <br />governmental entity, has the authority to execute a transfer of real <br />property to another governmental entity upon terms and conditions <br />agreed upon by each entity, and the adoption of substantially <br />identical resolutions by each entity; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission desires to <br />obtain said property for redevelopment purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 21, 1989, the Board of Public Works adopted <br />Resolution No. 33 -1989 authorizing the transfer of title to the City <br />owned property at 622 Columbia Street to the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission as follows: <br />That the South Bend Redevelopment Commission will accept <br />transfer of the title of City owned property at 622 S.
