C <br />RESOLUTION NO. 891 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS FOR ADDITIONAL <br />CONSTRUCTION WORK AND THE PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL <br />EQUIPMENT FOR THE ST. JOSEPH /WAYNE PARKING FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the <br />"Commission ") on the 17th day of June, 1988 approved and executed a <br />lease dated as of June 1, 1988 between the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Authority (the "Authority "), as Lessor, and the Commission as Lessee <br />(the "Lease ") for the rental of certain real estate described in <br />Exhibit "A" of the Lease and a parking garage facility (the "Garage ") <br />to be erected thereon by the Authority or its agent according to <br />plans and specifications prepared for the Authority by C. W. A. <br />Walker, Inc., the real estate described in said Exhibit "A" and the <br />Garage being collectively referred to hereafter as the "St. <br />Joseph /Wayne Parking Facility "; and <br />WHEREAS, on the 29th day of July, 1988, the Authority and the <br />Commission approved and executed an Addendum to Lease which reduced <br />the amount of the annual rental payment as provided for in the Lease <br />to Four Hundred Sixty Three Thousand Dollars ($463,000) per year (the <br />Lease and Addendum to Lease shall be referred to collectively <br />hereafter as the "Lease as amended "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority, on the 17th day of June, 1988, approved <br />-1- <br />
