3 <br />1. Central Business District <br />a) Area P: This area shall retain its commercial use <br />designation. This area shall not be designated as a <br />part of the "Exempted Central Business Core Area ". <br />4. Howard Park <br />a) Area N: This area shall be retained for public use <br />including, but not limited to, parks river walkways <br />and recreational activities. Portions of this area, <br />including the park maintenance facility, Viewing <br />Park, riverbank park lands between Howard Park and <br />Sample Street and public right -of -ways along St. <br />Louis Boulevard and Northside Boulevard, between the <br />south right -of -way line of Wayne Street and Sample <br />Street, will be proposed for rezoning to "A -3" <br />designation and "F Height and Area District" from <br />current zoning designations of "B ", "D ", "E ", and <br />unzoned. <br />b. Area 0: Portions of this area are currently zoned <br />"B ", "C -1", "D ", and "E ". This area is presently <br />used for office, warehousing and retail activities. <br />These activities will be retained and further <br />development of these, and similar land uses, shall be <br />encouraged. Rezoning the subareas currently zoned <br />"C -1", "D ", and "E" to "A -3" and "C Height and Area <br />District" will be proposed. <br />-14A- 10/27/89 <br />
