RESOLUTION NO. 898 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION APPROVING A PROPOSED LEASE BETWEEN THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR CERTAIN LAND AND PUBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENTS, APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND COST ESTIMATES <br />FOR THE PROJECT, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED LEASE <br />PURSUANT TO IC 36 -7 -14 -25.2, AND AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION <br />OF NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority ") <br />on November 16, 1989, adopted a resolution ratifying and confirming <br />its intent to issue its South Bend Redevelopment Authority lease <br />rental revenue bonds for the purpose of obtaining money to pay for <br />the costs of certain land and public improvements and related <br />expenses (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, on November 16, 1989, the Authority adopted a resolution <br />approving a proposed lease between the Authority and the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission ") for the lease of the <br />Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the plans, specifications and cost estimates for the <br />Project have been filed, reviewed and approved by the Redevelopment <br />Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, the plans, specifications and cost estimates for the <br />Co Project have been filed with the Redevelopment Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority has filed the proposed lease with the <br />Commission, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and <br />-1- <br />
