Public Hearings <br /> (13) Consideration of Resolution No. 2985. <br /> Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No.2985 <br /> Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> Commission approved Resolution No. 2985 DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF CERTAIN LOCAL <br /> PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br /> appropriating monies for the purpose of BEGINNING JANUARY 1,2012,AND ENDING <br /> defraying the expenses of certain local public DECEMBER 31,2012,INCLUDING ALL <br /> improvements for the fiscal year beginning OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, <br /> January 1, 2012, and ending December 3 1, FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE <br /> 2012, including all outstanding claims and EFFECT. <br /> obligations, fixing a time when the same <br /> shall take effect. <br /> (14) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2986 <br /> determining to appropriate monies for the <br /> purpose of defraying the expenses of <br /> certain local public improvements for the <br /> fiscal year beginning January 1, 2012 and <br /> ending December 31, 2012 including all <br /> outstanding claims and obligations, fixing <br /> a time when the same shall take effect. <br /> (Blackthorn Golf Course Operations). <br /> Mr. Inks asked that the record show that the PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION No.2986 <br /> public hearing file is complete. It contains a <br /> copy of Resolution No. 2986 setting the <br /> public hearing; a copy of the Notice of the <br /> Hearing; and affidavits from the South Bend <br /> Tribune and the Tri-County News that the <br /> Notice of Hearing was published in those <br /> newspapers on January 13, 2012. <br /> Ms. Leonard Inks noted that Resolution No. <br /> 2986 appropriates approximately $1,485,000 <br /> for the expenses of the Blackthorn Golf <br /> Course for 2012. This budget was also <br /> approved at the Blackthorn Joint Committee <br /> Meeting in December. <br /> 10 <br />
