Permission was granted, • <br /> • An agreement beti•reen the Board of Public 6lorks and 5afety ting in <br /> benalf of the City of South Bend� and the Board of Com.�issions�/�� the <br /> County of St. Joseph for radio service and facilities to be furnished <br /> to •six (6) units of St. Joseph County by th e Ci�ty for the sum of �2�100.00 <br /> to be paid by the County in monthly installments of �1�5.00 per t�onth� <br /> was approved by the Board. • - • <br /> ELECTRICAL D�ARTT;r.tdT: t4r. 4Jilliar� �ualls� Superintendent� uras present <br /> and matters pertaining to his departnent were discussed, <br /> - 1�1r, Qualls reco�r�ended the installa�ion of street lights at the <br /> intersection of Farneman and St. Joseph 9treets� Ewing Avenue and St; <br /> Joseph Street� Olive •and Longley Streets� Howard an@ St. Peter Streets� <br /> P-.eade and Plar.quette Avenue� On Liberty 5treet bettireen Jefferson and 1lestern� <br /> and on i9ilbur Street between Elurood and Humboldt Streets. The Board� upon <br /> i-'s, Qualls reco�nendation� approved these installations and directed P-ir. <br /> � Qualls to order the lights installed, <br /> t•ir. Qualls infor�ed the Board that lights ordered in at 47ashington <br /> and Esther Streets� Sunnyside and Sorin Streets� Indiana and Pulaski <br /> Streets and Pu�asY.i Strects had all been installed and were nota in service� <br /> also that 1000 lumen lights at Sunnyside and l;'ashington Streets and at <br /> Jacob and i4ashington Streets had been changed to 4000 lumen lights. <br /> W�IGHTS Fc T��ASU�S: P�;r.
