The Redevelopment Authority
May 18, 2011 Meeting Minutes
envisioned to be a kind of senior center with various types of services as people
age, as well as commercial development. Across the street from that site, a hotel
development has been approved. It is a question of the economy as far as when
these projects get started. Part of the development on the north side will be started
once the sewer and the road are in—the first part of the senior development will
be put in. That will be, as Mr. Inks understands it, a tax paying project.
Mr. Meteiver said these properties, other than the golf course itself, are under
option to Cressy Everett/C.E. Capital Group. So, not only is the Authority signing
off on the property, but C.E. Capital will be signing off on the easements, as well.
There are five different parcels.
Upon a motion by Ms. Pfotenhauer, seconded by Mr. Thomas, the Authority
unanimously approved the Mayflower Road Sanitary Sewer Easement in
Blackthorn Corporate Park.
4.
