Talboom Deputy <br /> <br /> <br />REPORT FROM THE SUB-COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br /> <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: The sub-committee has inspected <br />the minutes of the December 12, 2011 Meeting; December 19, 2011 Special Meeting; <br />and the January 2, 2012 Organizational Meeting of the Council and found them to be <br />correct. <br /> <br />Therefore, we recommend the same be approved. <br /> <br /> s/Derek D. Dieter <br /> s/David Varner <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott made a motion that the minutes of the December 12, 2011 Meeting <br />of the Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded <br />the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. Councilmember Oliver Davis <br />made a motion that the minutes of the December 19, 2011 Special Meeting of the Council <br />be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which <br />carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion <br />that the minutes of the January 2, 2012 Organizational Meeting of the Council be <br />accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried <br />by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Council President Dieter announced that the Council will need dedicated city residents to <br />work with the Council Members, and the Council Committees. Applications may be <br />found on the City’s website, in the Office of the City Clerk or from any of the nine (9) <br />Councilmember’s. He advised that all applications should be filed no later than noon on <br />Friday, January 20, 2012. They will then be referred to the Council Committee <br />Chairpersons who will make the final selection. <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
