The <br /> Board appro ved his requ�st for retirement,sub3ect to his acceptance by <br /> the Trustees of the Police Pension Fund, effective October l, 1945. <br /> ELECT�ICAL DEPARTT�JIEPiT: P,4r. 'Nilliam G�ualls, Superintendent, was present <br /> and mattars pertaining to his department vrere discussad. <br /> Upon r.sr. Qualls recommendation, the Board approved the installation <br /> of a street li�ht at the intersection of Falcon and Dunham Streets, and <br /> I�4r. Qualls was authorized to apply for permission to ins�all same. <br /> b�r. Qualls. submitted a report on the conditions existin� on Corby <br /> Street near the intersection of St. Louis, and the Board approved the <br /> installation of a street light on the South Side of Corby S�reet at the <br /> alley opposite the North entrance �o St. Louis Blvd. , <br /> Upon Pdr. auall.s recommendation the Board �approved changing �he class- <br /> ification from underground to overhead on lights located at Lincoln '�Vay <br /> East and the Grand Trunk Railroad Tracks and on '+'Vashington Street and St. <br /> Paul Place. <br /> Mr. Qualls vras granted permission to -attend a convention of the Inter- <br /> national �dunicipal Signalmen's s�ssociation in Chicago November l�th to 15th. <br /> `J9EIGHTS ArdD NIEASURES: P,7r.
