He reco�rnended that a 1000 lumen light be installed, <br /> but due to the decision of the� Board to hold up all new installations of <br /> street lights, this one vsill be filed for the present. <br /> A let�er from Lieutenant Ellsi�rth R. Butz, of the South Bend Traffic <br /> Coffinission, �ras addres�ed to the Board relative to the city�s adherrence <br /> to the nation-�ride dim-out. The Traffic Commission feels that the dim=out <br /> has resulted in an increase in traffic larv viola�ions in the down totivn <br /> district, and recommends tha� the Board direct that all street lights in <br /> the do wn toim area be turned on.
