Dear Sir This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 9th. , inst., which reached my off ice in Detroit, on thq 13th., . We are no assembling material t, o coo this work. We have been very short of labor, but expect to get started on repairs to the planking on D iv is ion Street, South Bend tery shortly. A lairge amount of work is involved at this time, as we six will require a considerable number of cross ties as well as renewal of practically all the cross in plank.
