On request of Geerge M. Urey Sexton of the City Cemetery, the salary of John _ Schymanski assistant Sexton was increased from 03.50 per day 66 44.00 per day beginning August llth. ,1919. concerning the improvement of the roadway of .Van Buren Street and Lawndale Avenue from Portage, Avenue t• LlncOln Way. Board find . that said Highway Mater iah Company is the lowest and best bidder and hereby lots the contract for 8> id improvement ° to hilt, and orders that said . improvement be made with Bituminous Macadam using Tarvia "A" and all proceedings heretef tre had in this matter are hereby c 4nf irmed °and gat if ied.
