All members tivere presen.t. <br /> The meeting tiT�as called to consider further. the case of L�o NTal�o�vski, <br /> suspended Police afficer. The Board considerad the facts of the case as <br /> reported to i� by other officers on duty and by the Chief of Police. Gave <br /> consideration to Officer T�lakot°TSki 's waiver of a formal statement of char�es <br /> and vlaiver of notice of hearing and �ave consideration of �fficer T�Za��otiTSki's <br /> statements of �1hat had occurred as made orally by Officer Ts7al�owski to the <br /> Board, as indicated in the minutes of the �3oard for Jul�r 31, 1944. Said <br /> statement as made by �fficer TvIakov�ski included the admission that he had, <br /> tivhile on duty, taken tvro drinks of whiskey and t��o, drinks of beer furnished <br /> to him by the o�vner of a tavern �ocated in the city of South Bend, and that <br /> he had then talked by radio to the desk Sergeant at Yolice Headq��arters and <br /> had been called in. to �Y�.e headquarters thereafter.
