McBride <br /> Others Present: Graham Sparks, Bob Palmer, Casey Colvin <br /> Presenters: Tracy Skibins, Ron O'Connor, Marlaina Johns, Jen Goebel, <br /> Jen Hockenhull, Kyra Clark, Christina Brooks <br /> Agenda: Code Enforcement <br /> Administration and Finance <br /> Human Capital and Inclusion <br /> Committee Chair Karen White called to order the Personnel and Finance Committee meeting at <br /> 5:00 p.m. She introduced members of the Committee and opened the floor for main motions. <br /> Committeemember John Voorde made a motion to recess the Committee and reconvene in the <br /> large Council Chambers. Committeemember Regina Williams-Preston seconded this motion <br /> which carried by a voice vote of three (3) ayes. <br /> At 5:02 p.m., the Personnel and Finance Committee recessed and reconvened at 5:04 p.m. in the <br /> full Council Chambers. Committee Chair White then gave the floor to the presenters. <br /> Code Enforcement <br /> Tracy Skibins, Deputy Director of Code Enforcement with offices located on the 13th floor of the <br /> County-City Building,stated,I would first(1St)like to introduce my team. Our Director of Finance <br /> is Ron O'Connor. Our Operations Analyst is Marlaina Johns.Jen Goebel is the Director of Animal <br /> Care and Control. They will all be speaking today as well. <br /> She continued, The mission of the Department of Code Enforcement is to ensure a safe and clean <br /> environment by upholding and enforcing the ordinances of the City of South Bend through <br /> education and communication. It is our vision to be one (1) of the premier Code Enforcement <br /> Departments in the nation as a result of our core values and our commitment to innovation.
