a. Engineer shall perform a final field check including of a complete site walls-thru visit <br />with Owner to determine critical areas for construction, bypass piping, and maintenance <br />of traffic. <br />b. In accordance with the project's preliminary design task, the Engineer shall perform a <br />detailed design of the proposed project. As part of the draft final design phase, the <br />Engineer shall complete the plans to a point where a 90% Design Review may be held. <br />Once all comments from the 90% Design Review meeting are addressed, final plans <br />and documents shall be completed. The following items, at a minimum, shall be <br />included in the final plans (l I "xl7"): <br />1) Title Sheet <br />2) Index and General Notes <br />3) Plan Sheets <br />4) Traffic Maintenance Details <br />5) Bypass Pumping Details <br />6) Detail Sheets <br />7) Structure Data Table <br />Engineer shall deliver to Owner the following items as final design documents that shall <br />become property of Owner: <br />1) Two (2) sets of original As -Bid reproducible tracings of the contract plans including <br />addenda on standard 1 I"x17" sheets. <br />2) Two (2) copies of the final contract documents, <br />3) One (1) copy of final contract documents and contract plans in adobe PDF format. <br />Prepare and furnish bidding documents for review by Owner, its legal counsel, and other <br />advisors, and assist Owner in the preparation of other related documents. Within 16 <br />(sixteen) days of receipt, Owner shall submit to Engineer any comments and, subject to the <br />provisions of Paragraph 6.0l.G, instructions for revisions. <br />6. Revise the bidding documents in accordance with comments and instructions from the <br />Owner, as appropriate, and submit 2 (two) final copies of the bidding documents, a revised <br />opinion of probable Construction Cost, and any other deliverables to Owner within 7 <br />(seven) calendar days after receipt of Owner's comments and instructions. <br />B. Engineer's services under the Final Design Phase will be considered complete on the date when the <br />submittals required by Paragraph A1.03.A.6 have been delivered to Owner. <br />C. In the event that the Work designed or specified by Engineer is to be performed or furnished under <br />more than one prime contract, or if Engineer's services are to be separately sequenced with the <br />work of one or more prime Contractors (such as in the case of fast -tracking), Owner and Engineer <br />shall, prior to cornrnencement of the Final Design Phase, develop a schedule for performance of <br />Engineer's services during the Final Design, Bidding or Negotiating, Construction, and Post - <br />Construction Phases in order to sequence and coordinate properly such services as are applicable to <br />the work under such separate prime contracts.
