Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (6) continued... <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FOR <br /> Ms. King and unanimously carried, the PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR <br /> Commission approved the proposal for SERVICES RELATED TO ACQUISITION OF TAX <br /> SALE PROPERTIES(713 W.INDIANA AND 1521 S. <br /> professional services agreement for services CATALPA . <br /> related to acquisition of tax sale properties <br /> (713 W. Indiana and 1521 S. Catalpa). <br /> Ms. Jones reminded Mr. Inks that the <br /> Commissioners asked to make this type of <br /> item one that staff can approve and bring to <br /> the Commission for ratification. <br /> (7) Administrative Settlement for 1521 S. <br /> Kemble. <br /> Mr. Sikora noted that on October 25, 2011, <br /> the Commission approved Resolution <br /> No. 2946, setting the acquisition offering <br /> price for 1521 S. Kemble at $45,500, the <br /> average of two appraisals. Staff has been <br /> working with the property owner since that <br /> time, to reasonably reach an agreement to <br /> acquire this property and relocate her and her <br /> son. <br /> This property is a large duplex, each unit <br /> with two bedrooms and one bath. It was <br /> purchased in 2004 for $85,000, from <br /> proceeds of a settlement from the minor <br /> child's father's death. <br /> Under our relocation policy, an additional <br /> $13,500 is eligible as a housing replacement <br /> payment to move this property owner into a <br /> decent, safe, and sanitary home. The owner <br /> and her son have found another home they <br /> 48 <br />
