Public Hearings <br /> (3) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2967 <br /> confirming a resolution amending the <br /> Development Plan for the Airport <br /> Economic Development Area and adding <br /> one or more parcels to the List of Parcels <br /> to be Acquired. <br /> Mr. Sikora noted that Resolution No. 2967 <br /> adds four parcels to the Airport Economic <br /> Development Area (EDA), the first being <br /> 401 N. Bendix, the Honeywell-owned <br /> property west of the existing Bosch facility. <br /> The other three parcels are in the 1300 block <br /> of S. Michigan. <br /> On October 25, 2011, the Commission <br /> approved Resolution No. 2950, a Declaratory <br /> Resolution to amend the Development Plan <br /> of this Area to allow for the potential <br /> acquisition and expenditure of funds on these <br /> parcels. <br /> On November 15, 2011, the St. Joseph <br /> County Area Plan Commission approved <br /> Resolution No. 222-11, which approved, <br /> ratified, and confirmed Resolution No. 2950, <br /> determining that it conforms to the plan of <br /> development for the city. <br /> On November 28, 2011, the South Bend <br /> Common Council, the municipal legislative <br /> body for the city, approved Resolution No. <br /> 4133-11, which approved, ratified, and <br /> confirmed the Area Plan Commission's <br /> Resolution No. 222-11. <br /> Resolution No. 2967 is the final step in the <br /> process to add these parcels to the acquisition <br /> list. <br /> 20 <br />
