RESOLUTION NO. 914 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO AND EXECUTION OF A LEASE BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR CERTAIN LAND AND PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, AND REGARDING OTHER RELATED MATTERS W HEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission ") on December 8, 1989, held a public hearing on a proposed Lease between the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority ") and the Commission for the South Bend Central Development Area Public Improvement Project (the "Project ") to be dated as of November 1, 1989 (the "Lease ") at which all interested parties were provided the opportunity to be heard, after which hearing it adopted Resolution No. 901 finding that the rental payments to be paid by the Commission pursuant to the Lease are fair and reasonable and that the use of the Project throughout the term of the Lease will serve the public purpose of the City of South Bend and is in the best interests of its residents; and WHEREAS, the Commission in said Resolution No. 901 further approved the execution of and authorized and directed the President or Vice President and Secretary of this Commission to execute and deliver the Lease in substantially the form presented at that meeting, and further directed the Secretary of the Commission to transmit to the Common Council of the City of South Bend (the "Common -C Council ") a copy of said Resolution No. 901, and to file with said Common Council an approving ordinance; and -1-
