INDIANA HOUSING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />LEAD HAZARD REDUCTION DEMONSTRATION GRANT AND HEALTHY HOMES <br />SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />OF <br />City of South Bend <br />The undersigned, as Secretary of City of South Bend (hereinafter referred to as "the Company's"), <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Indiana, hereby attests to the making of the following <br />resolutions by the Company's Board of Directors. At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors, held on <br />with sufficient notice of the time and place of the meeting having been given and a <br />quorum of the Directors being present as required by the Company's bylaws, a majority of those Directors <br />present considered, discussed, consented to, and adopted the following resolutions: <br />RESOLVED, pursuant to the authority vested in the Board of Directors, <br />after discussion and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the <br />Company is hereby authorized to apply for and accept money in the form of <br />a recoverable grant from the Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Grant <br />and Healthy Homes Supplemental Funding, administered by Indiana <br />Housing and Community Development Authority ("IHCDA") in an amount <br />not to exceed Five Hundred Twenty Eight Thousand and Nine Hundred <br />Fifty One dollars and 01100 ($528,951.00) according to the terms and <br />conditions as more particularly described in Award Agreement between <br />IHCDA and Borrower, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof, marked as "Exhibit A"; <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following officer(s) of the Company: <br />Name Title <br />Name Title <br />be and hereby are authorized, empowered and directed to execute, <br />acknowledge, and deliver in the Company's name and on its behalf all <br />applications, documents, covenants, binding real estate, deeds, instruments <br />or writings as are necessary and/or as appropriate to consummate the <br />recoverable grant transaction, as acceptable to IHCDA. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND DR20R-0I8-003 <br />RESOLUTIONS PAGF I of 4 <br />
