KENDALL <br />EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br />Council Member Roland Kelly, Chairperson <br />Community & Economic Development Committee <br />South Bend Common Council <br />4th Floor, County City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />RE: Commercial Real Property Tax Abatement Petition for: <br />LNW PARTNERS, LLP, d/b/a We R Xhibits, Inc. <br />Dear Council Member Kelly: <br />Please find attached the Department of Community & Economic Development's report on a commercial real <br />property tax abatement petition for the above-referenced petitioner for expansion of a facility located at 4260 Ralph <br />Jones Drive, South Bend. Also attached is a copy of the petition, Statement of Benefits form, and supporting <br />information. <br />The report contains the Department's findings relative to the above petition. The petitioner, LNW Partners, LLP, <br />proposes to construct a 13,500 square foot addition onto the existing 24,000 square foot building. The new structure <br />will permit the petitioner to store the clients' exhibit properties, as well as allow the firm to expand its manufacturing <br />area. The addition will also be used as an exhibit set-up area to facilitate production, refurbishing, and client <br />viewing. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $300,000. LNW Partners, LLP, is seeking a (7) seven-year <br />real property tax abatement, and a representative of LNW Partners, LLP, will be available to meet with the <br />Committee on Monday, July 24, 2006.
