MASTER AGENCY AGREEMENT <br />2012 <br />This Master Agency Agreement, made and entered into as of the 16th day of January, 2012, <br />by and between the South Bend Department of Redevelopment, acting by and through its <br />Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission' ") and the City of South Bend, Indiana, a municipal <br />corporation duly organized and existing pursuant to the laws of the State of Indiana, acting by and <br />through its South Bend Board of Park Commissioners (the "Park Board ") for purposes of the <br />Commission designating the Park Board to act as the Commission's agent to undertake various <br />projects (the "Project" or "Projects ") located on or around properties in which the Commission has <br />an interest (the "Properties "). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, at a meeting on January 3, 2012, the Commission adopted its Resolution No. <br />IL2992 authorizing the Park Board to act as its agent with respect to the Projects which are located in <br />or around the City of South Bend, Indiana, and approving and authorizing the execution of this <br />Master Agency Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, at a meeting on January 16, 2012, the Park Board agreed to act as agent for the <br />Commission and approved and authorized the execution of this Master Agency Agreement with the <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission and the Park Board desire to enter into this Master Agency <br />Agreement in order to permit the completion of new Projects pursuant to the terms and conditions <br />contained herein; and <br />WHEREAS, the Park Board desires to act as the agent of the Commission for the purposes <br />set forth herein. <br />
