and the OWNER. Design development meeting will be held in South <br />Bend, Indiana. <br />5. The CONSULTANT will prepare the required construction documents in <br />accordance with the current accepted International Building Codes with <br />issued Amendments, as incorporated by City of South Bend, and their <br />applicable local codes. Design will be completed with contract drawings <br />and specifications for the project suitable for public bidding and submittal <br />to state and local agencies will be provided. The CONSULTANT will <br />attend one construction document review meeting with DSG and the <br />OWNER. Construction document review meeting will be held in South <br />Bend, Indiana. <br />6. The CONSULTANT will perform the following services in regard to <br />bidding the project: <br />i. Assist the OWNER in advertising for and obtaining bid proposals <br />for a prime contractor for construction, materials, equipment and <br />services; and, where applicable, attend a pre -bid conference. <br />ii. Issue addenda as appropriate to interpret, clarify or expand the <br />Bidding Documents that are not directly related to an error or <br />omission from the CONSULTANT. <br />iii. Attend the bid opening, prepare bid tabulation sheets and assist <br />the OWNER in evaluating the bids or proposals and in assembling <br />and awarding contracts for construction, materials, equipment and <br />services. <br />iv. The CONSULTANT will be responsible for attending the Pre - <br />Construction Meeting. <br />7. During construction of the project, the CONSULTANT will provide the <br />following services: <br />ii. Review shop drawings. <br />iii. Answer contractor RFI's. <br />iv. Perform site observations of each facility as required to meet <br />minimum code requirements. Additional site visits can be provided <br />at RW Armstrong's standard hourly rates. <br />V. Assist the OWNER and DSG in developing a punch -list of items <br />not meeting the intent of the project plans and specifications, <br />which require remediation. <br />3. Schedule <br />A. All work for this project will be completed so that the OWNER can bid the project <br />in July of 2011. <br />4. Payment <br />A. The CONSULTANT shall receive as payment for the work performed under this <br />agreement a maximum not to exceed fee of $132,200.00, unless a Supplemental <br />Agreement is approved in writing by the OWNER. <br />A -3 <br />
