c. Provide preliminary layout of curbs and sidewalks at a 10% design level for scoping <br />review. <br />d. Perform and analysis on storm water drainage solutions within the project area <br />exploring the availiablity of existing storm sewer north of the Western Avenue corridor. <br />e. Perform preliminary design from Falcon Street to west of Dundee Street including <br />concrete overlay design, sidewalk replacement and grading, recommendations of <br />potential driveway approach closures, landscaping, lighting layout for 30% and 60% <br />design levels. <br />f. Meet with the City staff to review plans, bid documents, anticipated construction cost, <br />and project schedule following preliminary design submittal. <br />g. Meet with City staff to perform field check following City staffs review of 30% design <br />submittal. <br />h. Utility potholing over critical utilities including fiber optic, telephone, gas main, <br />metronet, and signal interconnect conduit identified as potential horizontal conflicts to <br />determine the vertical elevation for consideration in design. <br />i. Public Meetings: Attend as technical support and provide presentation materials for up <br />to three public meetings to gather information from the public and to present project and <br />construction information <br />6. Furnish 3 review copies of the Preliminary Design Phase documents and any other <br />deliverables to Owner within 100 calendar days of authorization to proceed with this <br />phase, and review them with Owner. Within 10 calendar days of receipt, Owner shall <br />submit to Engineer any comments regarding the Preliminary Design Phase documents and <br />any other deliverables. <br />7. Revise the Preliminary Design Phase documents and any other deliverables in response to <br />Owner's comments, as appropriate, and furnish to Owner 3 copies of the revised <br />Preliminary Design Phase documents, revised opinion of probable Construction Cost, and <br />any other deliverables within 30 calendar days after receipt of Owner's comments. <br />B. Engineer's services under the Preliminary Design Phase will be considered complete on the date <br />when the revised Preliminary Design Phase documents, revised opinion of probable Construction <br />Cost, and any other deliverables have been delivered to Owner. <br />A 1.03 Final Design Phase <br />A.
