<br />In case such repairs become necessary the city- shall give written notice to
<br />the contractor to make the same, and incase of failure of the contractor to
<br />commence such repairs within thirt.v (30) days after such notice is reeei.ved*
<br />the city may make such re -)air by its own eL.y' ogees Qr by independent
<br />contract, and may thereu-ace r from the ec--t:.. ',or and his sureties the
<br />reasonable eost'of .the repair.;,. o -_�ad:t , together the cost of the super..,

<br />expiration of: -said guarantee period in which to notify the contractor of any

<br />pavement) the repairs necessary to be made at the expiration of the guarantee
