City Engineer subnitted the list of property owners do thematter f the appropriation of certain property under Condemnation Resolution No. 68 for the Widening of Seeberger Drive from 115.feeV E. of Michigan Street to,Fellows Street as.' shown in resolution on Page 611 of -this record.no. 10: This list includes the names of rthe owners nad holders of property and of interests therein sought to -be taken or, .bendficially or injuriously affected, and the description of the several pieces of land rproperty which is affected by the said appropriation proceedings. Thereupon, the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained nd to assess the benefits accruing -to tGk each piece of property upon said list. It wad thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimousl adopted, resolved that said list,;together with the amounts of benefits and damages and net damages and net benefits therein set forth as to the -several parcels of land be adopted and that, the respective amount of benefits contained in said list be and are hereby assessed.against the several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list and that the respective-amountsof damages contained in the said list be and are hre y awarded to the several tracts of land specifically set, forth .in said list, and that the bent benefits and net damages as the case may be as to the respective tracts of, land, contained in said list are hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may be as to the said several tracts of land. .The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages each, against the other where both benefits and damages are assessed against the same piece of property, tract or land or interest, and hereby fixes the said respective net, bane- fits.as the amount that shall be paid by the respective owners as benefits, and further hereby gixes Ahe respective net damages as to'the several tracts as the amount, that shall be paid to the owners of the respective tract as damages. . Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted the 28th. day of Fenruary 1923 at 7:15 P.M. was fixed -as -the day on which this Board will receive or°hear remonstrances from persons with regard to the amount of their respective awards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was istructed to prepare and cause to be duly and legally given, notices to the.awnert<>offeach parcel of property, showing the amount of the assessments or award, with a description of,the property affeete nd the date of said hearing. The matter of complaints about was taken up with Gilmore Nifong Caretaker of River Nifong was ordered to clean and repair all li,Ihts and at the proper time.
