<br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,
<br />County of St. Joseph, Stake of Indiana% That it is desired and deemed necessary
<br />.to construct a sewer known as West. Calvert Street Trunk Sewer District, all in said
<br />City, which, from its size and character, is not only intended and adapted for use b
<br />by property owners, whose property abuts along the line of said sewer, but is also
<br />intended and adapted. for Jreeeiving sewage from collateral drains already constructed..
<br />or which may be hereafter'const,ructed, and the same is hereby ordered constructed in
<br />And along the following line in said City,to-wit,:- Beginning at the intersection.of
<br />the center line of Main Street and Calvert Street; thence west along the center line
<br />of Calvert Street to the center line of Franklin Street wity a R0 inch vitrified
<br />pipe sewer; thence south along the center line of Franklin Street to the center of
<br />Donald Street with a 20 inch, vitrified pipe sewer; thence west along the center line
<br />of Donald Street to the minter of William Street with an 18 inch vitrified pipe
<br />sewer; thence still west along the centerline of Donald Street to the centerof
<br />Taylor Street with a 20 inch vitrified pipe sewer; thence still west along the cente

<br />south along the center line of Lafayette Street to a point 50 feet north of the
<br />north line of Ewing Avenue with a 12'inch'vit,riii4d pipe sewer. Together wht the
<br />necessary manholes, storm water inlets, conduits and house connections to the curb
<br />line along the line of said improvement., ,And,to be bgdlt in accordance with the
<br />profiles, specificationq, detail plans, maps and estimates now on file in the office
<br />of the Department of Public Works of said City, The cost of the construction
<br />of said sewer shall be assessed and collected in the manner prescribed by law, per-
<br />taining to the construction of sewers by Cities of the Second Class, all of which
<br />said property beneficially affected lies within the following described territory,
